What is the Estronex® Profile?

The Estronex® Profile is a non-invasive, at-home urine test that is used to detect a patient’s likelihood of developing conditions related to certain ratios of estrogen metabolites within the body. This test is an invaluable tool for both men and women to evaluate their risk of developing certain types of cancers, including uterine, ovarian, cervical, prostate, and breast cancer.

How Does it Work?

This test uses a small sample of the patient’s urine to measure the concentration of six different estrogen metabolites in the body. Four of these estrogen varieties are considered “good,” meaning that they promote health and wellness and discourage cancer development, while two of them are considered “bad,” meaning that they can be harmful to the body and support tumor growth. Using an Estronex® Profile, the amounts of each of these types of estrogen and their ratios to each other can be measured and used to evaluate the patient’s risk of developing estrogen-related cancers or conditions.

How Does the Estronex® Profile Work with our Age Management Programs?

When it comes to our age management programs for both men and women, our focus at Better Life is on promoting health and wellness in all of our clients. A vital part of promoting this lifelong health and wellness is helping our clients take measures to reduce their chances of developing cancers and diseases.

Using the results of an Estronex® Profile, our team at Better Life can recommend specific lifestyle, diet, and exercise changes that can help correct any imbalances in estrogen that may be present. This can dramatically reduce a patient’s risk of contracting cancers and conditions that are related to elevated levels of certain types of estrogen. When used in conjunction with a hormone assessment, this test also allows us to more accurately determine which specific types of estrogen need to be supplemented during a patient’s hormone therapy.

All of us at Better Life understand that your greatest asset is your health — that’s why we want to do everything we can to help preserve and protect it. If you’d like more information about what an Estronex® profile can do for you, or if you’re interested in scheduling a consultation appointment, contact us today! We look forward to hearing from you.
